'Be Skeptical' of Slate Mailers

Now, Jubal at Red County is decidely Republican. With a capital R. His blog on OC Politics is a must read, though.

Today, he posts a warning to be "skeptical" of slate mailers, pointing out that he's received a couple from "Republican" groups that actually endorse Democrats.

Not sure why, but it made me think of this race. Something about "local teachers" or "Democratic leaders..."

The Recall Slate is endorsed by Republicans. The Kooiman-Kutnick-Stiff trio are endorsed by the local teacher's union.

No surprise here. When Republicans use half-truths and misleading statements to benefit their candidates, it is simply hard-hitting politics. When the opposition does so, it is unethical campaigning.
