But it's "Where's Ellen?" Trustee Addonizio's photo is still not posted at CUSD headquarters.
Certainly not a requirement, but it might be a nice thing for the constituents.
I've never been at a school board or City Hall where one member didn't want their photo up.
Ah, well.
Note to district leaders: When the boundaries are redrawn, it would be nice for the wall to have a little map that showed the trustee areas, so visitors could clearly identify their representative.

Ellen didn't answer your your questions during the campaign either and was hidden from the voters during that election too. Where did she show up? At a Tea Party Rally and at the lottery drawing for the charter school ( held at a church ). Ellen and Sue have to go!

So with the next election a year from November when will we see the boundaries being redrawn? Has anyone started the conversation?

What a joke - Ellen didn't have her picture up for her first 4 years either. Why not?

If she doesn't want to be here she should resign and spare us all.

Tonight's agenda included a high school principal appointment. Any idea who was chosen for the position?
Posted by: Well? | July 13, 2011 at 07:44 PM
Just received this email about the appointment:
This message is being sent on behalf of Superintendent Joe Farley.
It is my pleasure to announce that on Wednesday afternoon the Board of Trustees approved Dr. Kevin Astor as principal of Capistrano Valley High School. He replaces interim principal Dr. Cheryl Baughn who filled the position when Deni Christensen became Executive Director of Secondary Education.
Dr. Astor brings 18 years of education experience to this role. He began his career as a middle school Spanish teacher in 1993. He has served with distinction as a teacher and administrator at the middle school and high school levels. I am confident that his experience, knowledge, and passion will allow the Capistrano Valley High School community to continue its growth and academic success.
Please join me in welcoming Dr. Astor to his new role.

Thanks Mom. It sounds like he'll be a great addition to the CVHS staff.

I wish him lots of luck at Capo. I hope Dr. Astor gets a heads up on the "way things are" at Capo!

Another mom,
I'll have a freshman at Capo next year. What's the "way things are"? Is there something we should know?
