About that New Web Site ...

I'm beginning to explore the new Web site more, and as others pointed out, it's a School Loop product, so similar to other districts.

But anyone click on information about the superintendent yet ?

Blank.

And on info about the trustees ... Still no photo of Ellen Addonizio. There's none on the wall at district headquarters, either.

When the Going Gets Tough, the Tough ... Redesigns its Web Site

Facing a dire budget situation, an unresolved situation with a superintendent on involuntary paid leave and a sharply divided constituency, the Capistrano Unified School District has unveiled a new ...

Web site.

A sneak peek of the new site is up (click here to see it) and seems to give greater emphasis to news and communicating with parents. The new site is set to go live in about a week.

To be fair, the site is cleaner and more attractive than the previous site ... I do hope, though, the photo of Dana Point Harbor rotates with scenes from throughout the distict.

One thing you can find from either home page (www.capousd.org) is a survey on how you'd deal with the budget -- where you'd find more money, what you'd cut.

We'll take a look at the answers as they come in.
