Who Says We Don't Have a Movie Theater in Town?

        Please join me and filmaker Esteban Pinilla as he screens his recently completed documentary "Jazikidi Journey to the Amazon" in the La Sala Auditorium.    Jazikidi, which means "Jungle" shows  the origins of the Amazon River, through historical & scientific research and how this rainforest plays such a critical role in our planets ecosystem.   The film was just chosen as a finalist in the 2008 MY HERO Short Film Festival and if you click on the link below, you can preview a few minutes of this 95 minute documentary.     Tickets are $7 at the door and proceeds will benefit the San Juan Capistrano Friends of the Library who will be hosting an "open snack bar" with free popcorn & water.
